About Consuelo W.
With more than 23 years of experience, I am an academic leader, author, and consultant focused on developing People and Culture leaders globally. I teach HR-focused courses, conduct research, and consult on talent development, organization development, and global HR practices.My research has been funded by National Science Foundation, Engineering Information Foundation, and Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, as well as several industry partners. My consulting spans public, private, and non-governmental organizations. I have shared my expertise in the United States, Angola, Mozambique, Thailand, Belize, Jamaica, St. Lucia, Nicaragua, and Portugal. In addition, I lead learning abroad experiences for leaders to Brazil, Portugal, Poland, and the Czech Republic.I am honored to be a three-time Fulbright award recipient: Fulbright Student (1995), Fulbright Scholar (2016), and Fulbright Specialist (2025). I am on the Fulbright Specialist roster from 2024 to 2027.
