Preconstruction Planning: Assigns project manager to new jobs Participates in hand off meeting between estimating team and project management team Reviews project for preplanning / prefab and virtual construction opportunities and works on developing a construction plan Review new project estimate, budgets and schedule of values with the PM Assist PM with labor budget and production targets Leads team in project planning Assists in schedule review, schedule building and manpower loading Reviews construction schedules Reviews contracts Holds kick off meeting with estimating team, project manager and field operations Review quotes and selection of subcontractor and vendors Assist FOM reviewing construction drawings, specification and diagrams Assist FOM reviewing project labor, equipment and material requirementsCost Management: Prepare monthly cost to complete analysis on each job and assist with monthly WIP reports Track all actual job costs vs estimated costs Track all labor costs including labor rate and labor budgets breakouts Review budget weekly and report any discrepancies or issues Review estimate, budgets and project change orders Assist with monthly job cost projection and billings. Project Management Maintains oversight on all Kearney process and procedures to ensure the Project Management team is operating to company standards and quality control Performs regular job walks and monthly job financial reviews with Project Managers Perform monthly checks ups with Project Managers to ensure projects are being managed for profitability, that we are on or ahead of schedule, that our quality standards are being met and that the PM is managing the job as outlined in their job description Holds post-job meeting and provides summary of job performance and lessons learned
