ABOUT WAI YAN WILLY MIN HTIKE

I am a dual-degree undergraduate student at Duke University and Duke Kunshan University, majoring in Global Health and Public Policy. My academic and professional interests focus on strengthening health systems, preventing chronic diseases, and ensuring equitable healthcare delivery in resource-limited and crisis-affected settings.My research spans Asia, Africa, and the United States, examining structural and behavioural determinants of chronic disease and developing integrated, evidence-based interventions to improve care for people with multimorbidity. I have co-authored peer-reviewed publications and led interdisciplinary projects that bridge research and real-world health policy solutions.Beyond research, I am committed to translating ideas into action, whether through implementation science, global health policy, or innovative community-based initiatives.
