ABOUT JOHN WAGONER

Polyglot data engineer and MBA who has worked in numerous technologies. I specialize in Python, Java, Node.js and in creating data pipelines and analysis solutions primarily on the Amazon AWS-based stacks.In the 20+ years of working in this field, I have helped numerous companies take concepts scribbled on proverbial napkins and turned them into revenue generating activities. I had worked extensively with decision makers in choosing the appropriate technologies and structures for their projects. I\'ve managed groups of geographically dispersed developers, artists, marketing professionals and copywriters to complete client and company owned projects that were highly scalable and fully conformed to specifications(-ish).I also once breathed life into YourVolunteers, a free cloud-based volunteer scheduling, management and tracking application used by more than special events, schools, and other organizations all around the world. But now when I look at my many creations over that past 25 years, I can\'t help but think to myself:My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings;Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!Nothing beside remains. Anyway, the point is the code you write today can be awesome, but it ages, it becomes obsolete, it becomes forgotten. Unless it\'s for a government contract in which case, it will be around for at least a half century. Regardless, what really matters are the people you meet along the way. And the strangers who accept your invitation on LinkedIn. And the programming related puns you make during daily stand-ups. And the AI\'s who pretend to be friends yet still manage to brighten your day.Lastly, I am a firm believer that the world ended in 2012 thanks to the spaghetti code of a lazy developer that was used on the world\'s largest particle collider. We have since been living in a simulation, or more accurately, a video game of an alien civilization called,\"Wake Up, Work, Sleep.\" A prominent magazine of their planet dubbed it,\"the most boring game in the history of the universe across all dimensions.\" The world is waiting for that special engineer to come and grok that code and finally fix that typo to make things right once again. So fix that typo, you\'re our only hope.Lastly lastly, no matter what you are told, you are most certainly not an NPC so interact with other players, join a quest or two, and beat that final boss level.
