ABOUT WAFA AL HAMED

Wafa brings diverse experience over the past 15 years beginning with her first position with the World Bank in Yemen and the launch of her consulting and training firm in Dubai. She has provided a wide range of training programs and client service to a multitude of clients and multi-national corporations. In Canada, Wafa served as a front line Administrative Assistant at PRAIDA (Refugees and Asylum Seekers integration program by the Government of Quebec) followed by joining the federal public service through Public Services and Procurement Canada and then Women and Gender Equality Canada and currently with the Global Affairs Canada.Wafa is multi-lingual and speaks Arabic, English and French. She has a degree in English Literature from the University of Sana\'a in Yemen and she received French training from the French Embassy in Yemen-Wafa apporte une expérience diversifiée dans l’industrie au cours des 15 dernières années, en commençant par son premier poste à la Banque Mondiale au Yémen et le lancement de son cabinet de conseil et de formation à Dubai. Elle a fourni un large éventail de programmes de formation et de service à la clientèle à une multitude de clients et de multinationales. Au Canada, Wafa a servi comme adjoint administratif de première ligne à PRAIDA (Programme régional d’accueil et d’intégration des demandeurs d’asile – gouvernement du Québec) suivie d’une entrée dans la fonction publique fédérale avec Services publics et Approvisionnement Canada et ensuite avec Femmes et Égalité des Genres Canada et est présentement avec Les Affaires Globales Canada.Wafa est polyglotte et parle arabe, anglais et français. Elle a un diplôme de littérature anglaise de l’université de Sana’a au Yemen et elle a reçu de la formation en français de l’ambassade française au Yemen.
