With 18 years of diverse oilfield experience, I have a strong background in both Operator and Oilfield Services roles.I began my career as a Measurement While Drilling Engineer with Baker Hughes, gaining hands-on experience in Oklahoma, Texas, and West Virginia.Transitioning to an office role, I founded the Reservoir Navigation Services (RNS) Geosteering group at Baker Hughes in Oklahoma City. Under my leadership, the team experienced rapid growth; within two years, I managed a team of nine RNS engineers, steering wells across all major basins in the U.S. RNS helped gain directional services market share and created $15MM in pull-thru revenue in 2009 while increasing RNS revenue 800% in 2009 vs. 2008.When LINN Energy initiated their Granite Wash Drilling Program in 2009, I joined as a Reservoir Navigator while pursuing my B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering. I geosteered wells in 18 discrete target zones in Western Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle, achieving 98% wellbore placement within targeted intervals each year. After graduating, I served as a Production Engineer at LINN Energy where I led the evaluation and integration of 188 horizontal wells purchased in the Arkoma Basin. Focusing on plunger lift installation and chemical program efficiency, production volumes reversed from 28% decline to 6% incline. Shortly after, I took the lead on drilling operations in the Midcontinent Region. In Louisiana I drilled 2 exploratory vertical wells testing deep formations in high-pressure environments. I also drilled and geosteered 4 horizontal wells targeting the Middle and Lower Bossier formations in Lincoln Parish. In East Texas, I oversaw the drilling and geosteering of 2 extended horizontals targeting the Bossier and Cotton Valley formations in Limestone County. In Oklahoma I drilled 24 horizontal wells in the Merge Resource Play targeting the Mississippi, Woodford, and Hunton formations. We achieved top-tier capital costs of $282 per lateral foot and drilled with no sidetracks or lost-in-hole equipment.In 2018, I became a Drilling Engineer with Citizen Energy where I have successfully drilled and geosteered 98 wells in the Western Anadarko Basin (Oklahoma and Texas Panhandle) targeting Mississippi, Woodford, Red Fork, Cherokee, and Granite Wash formations. Twenty-two of these wells targeted depths greater than TVD. Intense focus on full-cycle economics resulted in best-in-field drilling costs. While executing this program, I directed $284MM in capital expenditures with <1% variance in Field Estimate vs. Actual Costs.
