Lead daily, ongoing management of real asset portfolio of $350M. Analyze properties and projects in conjunction with CEO and provide leadership and coaching to peers and farm managers regarding transaction practices and farm management. Travel regularly to farm sites to evaluate tenant performance, equipment maintenance, and meet with cross-functional project teams. Serve as single point of contact for tenants and support issue resolution, building strong long-term working relationships. Leverage existing vendor relationships to reduce cost of company irrigation and grain bin infrastructure and achieve priority customer status. Develop standardized templates for leases, contracts, and amendments. Prospect for new properties and partnerships through cold calling and networking in target regions. Design fields electronically using GPS-based system to maximize land leveling, drainage routes, and field layout.
