About Will Calderwood
Through professional curiosity and continuous learning, I\'ve seen how the hard upfront work of learning a category, skill, technology or organization can unlock strategic insights, enable good leadership, and empower initiative. For as long as I can remember, I\'ve overloaded my school schedule with new, challenging and complex courses; relished in difficult exams, papers and projects; and dedicated myself to mastering course material. Professionally, I have the same mindset. I spent the first part of my career in advertising where I could learn from a wide variety of businesses and categories, understanding how each was positioned to create value for their customers. More recently at Oliver Wyman, I\'ve dove deep into the healthcare industry, learning the challenges payers and providers face and relentlessly pursuing a better way to provide affordable and accessible care. I constantly seek opportunities to learn new industries, solve business problems, and develop my strategic and analytic toolkit, so that I can eventually look back on a career that taught me more than I ever thought possible.
