ABOUT WAAIZ SAEED

I’m a motivated Accounting and Finance graduate with hands-on experience in bookkeeping, purchase ledger management, VAT preparation, and reconciliations. Through my role at Arif Khan Accountants, I gained practical exposure to Sage Accounting, Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP), and the full cycle of financial processes — from data entry and invoice matching to VAT returns and year-end reporting. I take pride in being detail-oriented, organised, and proactive. I enjoy problem-solving, analysing figures, and ensuring financial accuracy across all tasks. My experience working with clients and supporting month-end close processes has strengthened my communication skills and my understanding of UK accounting standards and HMRC compliance. I’m now looking to build a long-term career in accounting, audit, or management finance, where I can continue to grow my technical skills, contribute to process improvements, and work towards professional qualifications such as ACCA or CIMA.
