Managing the Walk and Roll campaign which encourages Chicago officials to support better conditions for walking, biking, and public transportation to make the city healthier, more sustainable, and equitable. As part of the campaign I lead community engagement events in Bronzeville, and Logan Square. I produced the Bus Riders Forum during the most recent Mayor campaign that had a dozen candidates in attendance for an event held in Pilsen. Due to the advocacy for transit priority streets Chicago is taking steps to increase the mileage so that buses obtain greater speeds on their routes.
