William \"Lee\" Hogans is a versatile educator, musician, producer, and composer devoted to nurturing emerging artists. With a Master\'s in Jazz Studies from Rutgers and a Bachelor\'s in Jazz Performance from Georgia State University, he specializes in Trumpet Performance, Jazz Improvisation, and Jazz History.Currently serving as the Chief Education Officer at Harlem School of the Arts, William manages educational programs across multiple departments, overseeing 700+ students and a team of 11 staff members and 80+ teaching artists. His expertise spans curriculum development, budget management, and impactful outreach initiatives, benefiting over students. Previously, as Director of Music and Education at Jazz House Kids, he expanded programs nationally, initiated virtual learning during the pandemic, and managed curricula for aspiring musicians.With over a decade of teaching experience, William instructs diverse music courses, emphasizing music production and home recording. He conducts online trumpet and jazz improvisation lessons, collaborates as an artist, producer, and arranger, and has contributed to Sonic Branding Solutions for MIDI and audio production.
