ABOUT WAHIDULLAH ABEDI
Welcome to my career journey; a path shaped by curiosity, determination, and a deep love for learning. I was born and raised in Afghanistan, where I began fundamentals of my academic and professional development. Despite the challenges in Afghanistan, I had the honor of competing with international students and won four prestigious international scholarships:1- Fulbright Scholarship | USA2- Chevening Scholarship | UK3- ADB-JSP Scholarship | USA4- But I chose the DAAD Scholarship | GermanyWith C1 fluency in English, the easy choice would have been the US or UK. But I chose Germany. This decision was inspired by an influential experience during my school years from 2005 to 2011. During that time, I had the opportunity to work with the ZiiK of TU-Berlin project in Afghanistan, a collaboration between the Technical University of Berlin and Ministry of Higher Education Afghanistan. The project played a pivotal role in digitalizing public universities and teaching IT courses to thousands of students and professors in Afghanistan. The positive impact of that project motivated me with a deep sense of patriotism toward Germany. As a result, I choose the DAAD Scholarship so I could continue my studies, pursuing higher education with the goal of making a meaningful contribution to both German and Afghan societies through science, academia & innovation.Academically, I hold a Bachelor\'s degree in Economics, a Master\'s degree in International Management with a focus on Business, Technology & Design, and a second Master\'s degree in Business Administration, specializing in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Along the way, I have also completed numerous certifications to further broaden my knowledge.The drive to learn, to grow, and to have a positive contribution in society remains as strong as ever. Having witnessed the devastation of war during my childhood in Afghanistan, I carry with me not just memories, but a deep sense of responsibility; to be someone who brings light where there was once darkness. More than anything, I aspire to make a genuine difference in the lives of others and to help shape a world that is kinder, more justice, and more livable for everyone. Dream big, stay positive 🥳
