ABOUT W. AARON HOUSE

For more than twenty years, my career has focused on a simple but powerful idea. Talent exists everywhere, but sometimes individuals need help finding the right opportunities.I have dedicated my professional work to building programs that expand access to education, leadership development, and career pathways for students who demonstrate resilience and potential but face significant obstacles.Throughout my career I have designed and led national and international initiatives connecting students, educators, nonprofit organizations, and philanthropic leaders. These programs often begin as ideas where no formal structure exists. My work has been to build the partnerships, systems, and strategies that transform those ideas into sustainable initiatives that deliver measurable impact. My experience spans the full continuum of student success. From middle school access programs to national scholarship initiatives and leadership development programs for college students, I have focused on helping individuals navigate the path from potential to achievement.Along the way I have worked closely with universities, nonprofit organizations, global partners, and high net worth philanthropists to align mission driven programming with long term impact.Currently I serve as Director of Scholar Programs and Partnerships at the Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans where I lead national initiatives supporting students who have overcome adversity to pursue higher education and leadership opportunities. At the core of my work is a belief that education and cross-cultural engagement remain among the most powerful tools for expanding opportunity and strengthening communities.
