With more than 23 years of experience in community health and primary care in Peruand the United States, Dr. Victor Yosef Melt Campos stands out for his comprehensiveapproach to public health, encompassing clinical, social and technological aspects. Heis a graduate of the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texasat Austin, and has a solid academic background enriched by scholarships from the FordFoundation (The U.S.), Erasmus Mundus (The Netherlands) and Spanish Agency forInternational Cooperation – AECI (Spain), among others.Dr. Melt Campos has held teaching roles at the University of Florida and has led clinicalresearch at Baylor College of Medicine and the CDC. His commitment to the fight againstHIV/AIDS is evidenced by his membership in the American Academy of HIV Medicine,and his experience includes positions in the Peruvian Ministry of Health and medicalroles in Florida and Puerto Rico.
