Responsible for all supply planning activities for a product group within a business segment (Cheese & Table Spreads).• Developed the short/medium term production plan for a large, complex portfolio of products, understanding plant capacity and maintaining finished goods levels to meet customer service levels and efficiently utilize manufacturing resources. • Determined optimal safety stock and inventory levels based on demand and shelf-life constraints.• Worked in conjunction with plant schedulers to monitor production schedules and initiate corrective actions and worked with plant management on any manpower issues related to scheduling, understanding plant operational capacities including department and line capabilities and degree of line saturation levels; Key decision maker for supply of products with focus on forecast accuracy.• Led weekly consensus meetings to plan production with Demand Planning, Production Planning and Plant personnel.• Assisted with business development by providing timing for development of new products to external groups as required.• Optimized days of supply, inventory investment, productivity on production lines to ensure that the right product is available.• Worked with Supply Chain Logistics (Warehouse and Transportation teams) on a variety of issues including but not limited to inventory levels, usage of outside storage facilities, inter-plant transportation utilization and warehousing space for finished goods.• Worked with Customer Service and Logistics by providing direction to ensure customer service levels are achieved while keeping within budgets and guidelines (including regular demand orders, returns and selling off code inventory).• Prepared and reported KPI’s such as customer fill rates, production line attainment, forecast attainment, etc as required.• Surpassed the targeted customer fill rate of 98.5% and kept waste expenses under the budgeted threshold of CAD in 2023
