During my Infosys Virtual Internship, I developed MediQ, an AI-powered medical report analyzer designed to bridge the gap between complex medical data and patient understanding. I took full ownership of the system design, from backend architecture to a premium frontend experience.Key Contributions-System Architecture: Built a full-stack platform using React, TypeScript, and Flask to process multi-format medical data (PDF, OCR for images, and CSV).AI Integration: Implemented an intelligent extraction router and AI analysis engine to provide risk scoring, abnormality detection, and confidence metrics-Smart Processing: Designed a modular backend pipeline with automated OCR and fallback logic to ensure high accuracy in data extraction-UX/UI Design: Created an interactive dashboard with real-time health monitoring, trend visualization, and professional PDF report generation using Tailwind CSS-Optimization: Focused on clinical reliability by implementing a rules-based engine and telemetry for better traceability.
