The Head of Solution Delivery will lead and manage a team of software developers & testers, supporting them in building industry leading, search engine optimized, robust and innovative software solutions that are fit for purpose. Developing a strategy for the team to meet the division’s goals and objectives, and to improve the quality of the service it delivers internally and externally. To plan and monitor the successful implementation of this strategy. Responsible for the quality and technical approach taken by team members, ensuring it is in-line with the company strategy – and that projects are delivered on time and on budget. Creating and maintaining a professional culture within the team, where individuals take ownership and are fastidious and proud of delivering excellence and quality. Responsibilities • Starting point for any triage of P1 issues• Communication of any issues to key stakeholders. • Security breaches and responsible for reporting and escalating. • Security monitoring on all products and ensuring that security tickets that have been raised are completed within the agreed time frame for each level. • Ensure that Security have updated information about all sites in Jira projects• Security compliant, i.e. firewalls are in use and sites are protected to the recommendation of the sec team• CI/CD. • Deployments• Reporting of offshore development resource, with Cap projects that have been raised.• Resource management for off shore teams. • Review of all offshore resources. • Strategic direction of our products & services taking into account emerging and legacy technologies • Azure spend• Implement improvements to our products, services, processes and knowledge sharing • Project progress and overview of the performance teams and members• Technology and methodology standardization of system architecture, reusable code base development, versions of software tools, best practice, source control and deployment
