Responsible for the development & acceleration of the commercial business market by working as a catalyst to achieve the members business goals, creating a network of business owners, & providing trusted advisory leadership. Responsible for working with branch staff & members by telephone, in person, email & mail to provide effective & positive member relations as it relates to commercial lending & operations, thereby successfully retaining existing commercial member relationships as well as generating new business from these members to increase market share. Provide personalized attention & outstanding service to members with regard to account information, questions, problems, education, or other requests to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, & identification of repeat & new business opportunities, & performing these duties as a trusted financial advisor to existing client base. Responsible for processing loan applications, to include credit bureau reports, debt ratio calculations, credit score interpretation, cash flow analysis, approved/denial recommendation, member or staff notification, cross selling additional loans & working with other related departments to accomplish established business goals. Analyze & interpret corporate financial statements of current & prospective borrowers, as well as the credit bureau reports & cash flow analysis from the underwriting team to form sound underwriting decisions on business loan applications submitted by members, & determine loan repayment capabilities. Negotiate complex credit terms, structure loan repayment methods & collateral specifications consistent with credit union policy. Provide guidance & instruction to staff in regard to lending questions & decisions, & assist branch staff in efficiently & effectively processing the various activities involved in credit granting.
