NATURE OF DUTIES- Safety awareness training programs, Conducts regular routine inspections of site, facilities, and equipment for compliance with general and specific safety standards; first-aid; reports non-compliance and/or hazardous conditions, and recommends remedial action as appropriate HSE audits, Hazard identification, risk analysis, Job safety analysis, Personal protective Equipment’s (PPE’s), EHS awareness training, as well as other training courses on EHS expertise. Work to Permit System, Conducting Weekly/Monthly Safety Meeting Manage the security team to ensure the effective operation of the team, fixed firefighting appliances, Investigation of all Accidents / Near misses / Releases / Spills, recommends corrective actions. Statutory compliance and their functions as required under the provisions of factory Act; Safety signage’s & sticker, Inspection of Various Scaffolding Mock Drills by activating On-site/Off-site Emergency plan Good housekeeping, clear access & proper waste disposal Inspection of Condition and Functioning of Breaks, Limit Switches, Wire ropes, slings, D-Shackles, its maintenance and its records etc.CORE COMPETENCIES IN PROCESS SAFETY Tank Farm Safety, Unit process safety, Ware house/storage Safety, Chemical Handling Safety Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Risk assessments (HIRA /JSA & Hazard Operational Analysis). Safety at plant shutdown & pre-start-up. Fire & Gas Detectors, Field Analyzers / sensors for safety/ double layer protection, safety valves etc. Process Safety, Safety Inspection of Plant regular visit Electrical Safety, Lockout Tag out, Maintenance. Safety audits / loss prevention audits. Weekly Safety Reports, Analyzing the accident trend, investigation to find facts & root cause suggest corrective actions, ensure compliances. Safety committee activity, Develop and support documented EHS & Q management system Well motivated and able to work independently. To improve EHS awareness and safety culture through education/training programs and providing leadership within the area.
