As manager of the department, I’m responsible for the localisation of all Taskrabbit content for web, app, CRM, and internal resources, covering 8 locales in 7 countries. Team management: recruitment, line management, team budgeting, resources allocation, reporting, creation of training materials, planning of team initiatives. Vendor management: Working with our TMS provider, LSPs, and localisation contractors, I make sure all services run smoothly and are cost-efficient without compromising on quality. Cross-functional collaboration: I work daily with different teams to unlock opportunities that will make our product and user experience better. Project Management: I project manage international, cross-functional initiatives, adapting our platform to our European markets, bringing Taskrabbit to our users in a way that is locally relevant. Design and implementation of processes. I’ve created a number of workflows to ensure high cross-functional efficiency, while empowering all teams to be more cost-effective and self-sufficient through localisation reference materials and training sessions.
