With over 8 years of service in the United States Air Force, I\'ve honed my management, leadership, and stress tolerance skills as a dedicated Emergency Manager. My tenure in the USAF has been a rich source of experiences that have molded my professional journey. Emergency Managers excel in communication, whether through writing or public speaking. We serve as leaders, team builders, evaluators, problem solvers, and advocates for Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). In 2022, I joined Chick-fil-A, assuming a role within the Distribution Contingency Operations Team. Here, I\'m tasked with operationalizing and deploying crisis response strategies for our extensive distribution network, which spans the country, delivering millions of food cases to thousands of restaurants yearly. As the Senior Program Lead on this dynamic team, my main objective is to create and deploy emergency strategies and assets, ensuring supply distribution continuity. During emergencies, I oversee contingency assets and coordinate planning and resupply activities with the larger Distribution Contingency Operations Team. This role calls for an ambitious multitasker adept at cross-functional collaboration. I actively engage in crisis-related communications, contributing to our broader recovery strategy while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the situation and executing strategies. Between emergencies, I focus on enhancing our response capabilities through simulations, validating protocols, and identifying process improvement opportunities. I also contribute to various support and planning activities within the Distribution Contingency Operations Team. It\'s important to note that our program is evolving rapidly, requiring the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures for various contingency tactics during responses. In summary, my transition from the USAF to Chick-fil-A represents a dedicated commitment to integrity, service, and excellence. I\'m eager to leverage my experience and skills to ensure our distribution network\'s seamless operation, contributing to Chick-fil-A\'s continued success.
