Coordinating continuous improvement and cost-saving projects from inception to completion with Production, Quality, Maintenance departments, and outside contractors. • Identifying new opportunities, and making investment proposals for projects. Includes the financial analysis of the project, budgeting expenditures, & coordinating support groups. • Designing and modifying tooling in Solidworks for more consistent parts and improving the layout of a cell in AutoCAD for better ergonomics to improve cycle time. • Experience with SAP HANA for materials management, extended warehouse management, purchasing, sales, and finance. • Working with cross-functional teams to drive Value engineering by improving performance and cost reduction for an existing product. • Participating in activities such as FMEA, PPAP, APQP, PGC and supporting the Kaizen coordinator. • Writing work instructions, schedules for preventive maintenance, and training schedules for operators to improve OEE and reduce waste (Lean manufacturing).
