Growing up in Australia and obtaining a degree in Accounting and Finance, never did I think that my career would be in the hospitality industry doing more than accounting. Roll the tape forward, I now co-lead Food for Thought Enterprises. A 40 year old, woman and minority owned company. We are leaders in events and leaders in satisfying appetites in the workspace. Between now and 25 years ago, my experience in the hospitality industry has been with nationally recognized brands including Morton\'s Steakhouse, Landry\'s, and Protein Bar, with expertise in finance, operational improvement and technology.The most challenging but highlight of my career has been over the last 18 months and that was how to rise above the impact that COVID had on our business. It was a game of chess which I thoroughly enjoyed playing and was most rewarding!
