   Shift Lead Responsibilities • Coordinates and/or leads process steps as required. • Recognizes and performs scheduled and non-scheduled tasks. • Provides training to other associates as required and shares knowledge with others. • Capable of leading shift when supervisor is absent, and actively leads or participates in shift exchanges. Coordinates activities and daily schedules with cross-functional areas as applicable. • The ability to assess and initiate things independently, making good use of down time • Effectively manages time with multiple projects/tasks, prioritizes tasks for self and for the team as required to meet production timelines. • Provide input/ feedback to supervisor on group performance and efficiency. • Recognize complex/unique problems. Investigates, suggests potential solutions, and communicates appropriately. • Reviews batch records, SLRs and validation protocols for cGMP compliance. • Executes and reviews validation protocols. • Makes changes/corrections to cGMP documents (Logbooks, SLRs. BPRs). • Troubleshoots areas for cGMP improvement and takes appropriate steps to implement change • Clearly communicates process information and process issues with co-workers and supervision, and communicates in a timely manner. • Communicates openly and honestly with others in both oral and written forms. • Performs basic supervisory duties when supervisor is absent.
