ABOUT VOLODYMYR ROG

Volodymyr is a member of Deloitte\'s Global VAT Services practice, based in Chicago. He has been advising clients on global VAT issues, including cross-border VAT, taxation implications of international trade, ERP implementation, supply chain planning, VAT on electronic services. Volodymyr has a vast experience in coordination of multi-jurisdictional projects covering Europe, Latin America and Asia. Volodymyr received LL.M. degrees at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, specializing in tax law, and at Central European university, specializing in International Business Law. He has a unique combination of experience as a big 4 consultant in the U.S. and a practicing tax attorney in Ukraine (where he advised multinational financial institutions in corporate tax matters, involving value added tax, corporate tax credits and cross-border transactions) and legal training (both in the U.S. and internationally). Volodymyr was ranked in the top 1 % of students in the Central European University’s International Business Law LL.M. program, and was thus awarded Visiting Scholar status at Cornell University Law School, where he studied international tax from both the American and European perspectives. While pursuing his LL.M. at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Volodymyr was continuing to concentrate on tax and accounting classes while serving on the Pittsburgh Tax Review and participating in the ABA’s Taxation Law Student Tax Challenge.
