ABOUT VOLKAN ULUCAY

With over fifteen years of work experience in highways engineering, I am a Principal Highways Engineer at SYSTRA, a global leader in transport engineering and consulting. I have an MSc in Sustainable Transport and Travel Planning from Loughborough University, and I am skilled in traffic engineering, AutoCAD, and sustainable transport. As the Assets Lead Engineer for the Wood Green tunnel to the Delta Junction section of the HS2, the UK\'s largest infrastructure project, I am responsible for the design, delivery, and coordination of all the highway assets, including drainage, and lighting. I also led the Oxford Street Redevelopment Project as a Package Leader at Arcadis, where I oversaw the design and implementation of the pedestrianisation, public realm, and traffic management schemes for one of the most iconic streets in London. My core competencies include project management, stakeholder engagement, design review, and technical guidance.
