ABOUT VOLHA KATEBI
I lead natural language processing (NLP) projects focusing on various health-related topics and behaviors using supervised and unsupervised machine learning and transformer-based approaches. I am active in research on health communication and social media effects, particularly in the areas of topic modeling, text classification, and sentiment analysis. I earned my Ph.D. in health communication at the University of Georgia, where my work focused on the social media effects of fitness-related content. My research experience also includes experimental designs, surveys, eye-tracking research, focus groups, and interviews.
