About Brianna Vo
MPH candidate in Epidemiology with hands-on clinical experience and a growing background in public health research. Currently seeking opportunities in clinical research and healthcare while preparing for medical school. When you’re trusted to administer vaccines, comfort patients, and analyze population health data, all in the same chapter of your life, you learn quickly that healthcare is both deeply personal and powerfully systemic. I’m currently an MPH candidate in Epidemiology at Rutgers University with hands-on clinical experience as a Pharmacy Technician and Immunizer, and prior patient care experience at the Cleveland Clinic. My work sits at the intersection of holistic patient care and healthcare through the epidemiologic lens, where individual interactions inform broader public health solutions. In clinical settings, I’ve supported patient care by taking vital signs, assisting with lab collections, and creating environments where patients feel safe, heard, and respected. Now, through my research internship with the Center for Health, Identity, Behavior & Prevention Studies (CHIBPS), I’m building skills in analyzing large-scale datasets (NHIS, NHANES, survey data) and applying statistical methods to better understand health behaviors and disparities. Furthermore, my global health experiences from studying HIV care and prevention in London to examining health inequities in Colombia have strengthened my commitment to addressing gaps in care, particularly among underserved populations. These experiences continue to shape both my academic focus and long-term goals in medicine. I’m currently seeking opportunities in medical device sales, clinical research, public health, and healthcare settings where I can continue developing as both a data-driven thinker and patient-centered professional. At the same time, I am preparing to apply to medical school, with a clear goal of becoming a physician who bridges clinical care and public health impact. If you’re looking for someone who brings clinical experience, analytical skills, and a genuine commitment to improving patient outcomes, I’d welcome the opportunity to connect.
