ABOUT VICTOR L. MARRERO

Licensed professional engineer with over 20 years of research experience in thermal-fluid sciences, engineering operations, and additive manufacturing.I am a leader with initiative, creativity, and drive, possessing broad strategic and international knowledge. I have a deep passion for and understanding of additive manufacturing technologies and their applications. My experience includes customer-facing roles in which I have provided disruptive engineering design consultancy around additive technologies (e.g, laser, EBM, binder jet). My goal has been to explore product solutions that help each customer differentiate their product portfolio across various industries, including aerospace, automotive, and motorsports.I completed the Edison Engineering Development Program at GE Aviation and the Capstone Leadership Program, with rotations in Combustion Design Methods and Thermal Analysis for Commercial and Military programs.I possess expertise in the development and application of numerical methods for aero/thermal design, heat transfer, and fluid flow (CFD), with an emphasis on non-Newtonian flow, adaptive meshing, massively parallel computing, and animated visualization.
