ABOUT VLAD PANAITE

Hello, my name is Vlad Panaite, I am an entrepreneur and a fresh graduate from the University of Toronto’s BBA program. Below are some of my work experiences, a brief description about my business and some of my hobbies! Firstly, during 2019 and 2021 I enjoyed summer student positions within the mortgage servicing department at the Home Trust Company. I gained very valuable knowledge and work experience at this amazing company. Furthermore, Home Trust Company enriched my knowledge in the fields of: customer/consumer relations, internal and external customer support, dealing with 3rd parties (lawyers, solicitors, etc), Microsoft Office software, SAP software, time management, meeting deadlines, etc. I look back to my work experiences here with pleasure and hope to implement everything I have learned in the next chapters of my life! In addition, I am the founder of Flair Lenses. In essence, Flair Lenses is a grass roots company which focuses with providing customers affordable and good quality eye wear and blue light glasses. My partners and myself have officially launched the company on March 13th 2020, however work started long before that. This project has taught me to apply the knowledge which I have learned at UofT to the real world. For instance, I understand the significance of constructing effective logistical and business plans. Moreover, I understood how to calculate an effective price for our products and how to communicate with third party manufacturers. Check out the Flair Lenses website! Lastly, on my spare time I referee soccer games, enjoy reading books, news about the world, news about companies and investments, and working out (health is very important!). I look forward to connecting!
