VK, as he is fondly called in the Industry, is a Chemical Engineer from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade New Delhi.He has been a pharma veteran and has been performing a general management function as the head of Mid Size pharma companies for the last 10 years. While of his working life, he has mostly held PnL responsibilities, in pharmaceuticals, he has had a very wide spectrum of experience, spanning across formulations, drug delivery, APIs, business development, corporate strategy and mergers and acquisitions. His strength is leading international business with a focus on regulated markets. He has turned around two businesses, and is a seasoned techno-commercial professional, who is not only a strategic thinker but also has the knack of communicating and cascading the strategy and culture pillars of the company down, ensuring its seamless execution. Besides, he is very well networked and connected in the Industry which brings in added value to whatever profile he handles. In his last two roles as Chief Executive, he has also led operations and overseen RnD of the companies and has acute sense for identifying niche product opportunities, in the generic pharmaceutical space.\"
