Since 1964, Sea Life Park has been committed to the research, protection and preservation of the native marine species of Hawai’i, and to educating visitors on the importance of ocean conservation and sustainability. Thousands of people—including local school children and students nationwide—are reached each year through either a program in the Park or educational outreach efforts designed to promote conservation awareness and action. The park has embarked on several major refurbishment projects, added new attractions and menu offerings, and incorporated landscaping and design details that further reflect the uniqueness of the Park’s island home. The Park continues to increase attendance and profits. As general manager, I am responsible for all daily operations at the park with has a varied staff of 160.
