ABOUT VIVIENNE COHEN
I am a bilingual artist and recent Fine Art graduate from Central Saint Martins. With a diverse range of experience in the arts, I have worked in commercial galleries in both London and Hong Kong, where I have created engaging press material and assisted with the smooth running of public events such as show openings, artist talks and film festivals.In my studio and installation assistant roles, I utilised specialist skills according to the artists’ specifications and collaborated on works that were exhibited in galleries and museums internationally. I believe that creativity is an important tool in facilitating personal development. My experience as an assistant art teacher at a children’s after-school programme allowed me to bring this into action by working with children to help broaden their artistic horizons.In my own practice, I undertake a multi-disciplinary approach to sound, installation, image and archive.
