The Chief Sustainability Officer oversees and directs climate and sustainability strategy across the City, coordinating citywide climate and sustainability practitioners as a team, and is advised by the Sustainability and Climate Commission in developing, monitoring and stewarding the City\'s Climate Action Plans. The position is elevated in the City Administrator\'s office, is a member of the City of Portland\'s leadership team and reports to the City Administrator under Portland\'s new, voter-approved form of government.
