Maintain proper controls and procedures so that all areas of accounting and finance are performed accurately and timely. As a key member of the C-Suite, I report directly to the CEO and am responsible for overseeing the Accounting, Purchasing and Vendor Management departments. Prepare monthly financial statements, including detailed review of expense items entered and reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts. Responsible for preparing the annual budget by collaborating with department managers and sign off by C-Suite. Analyze budgeted vs. actual results monthly, and review variances and KPI’s. Collaborate with design teams to review project budgets and provide guidance on maintaining gpm. Update quarterly projections based upon updated market and firm information. Oversee accounting and finance staff work completed for accuracy and that proper procedures are being followed. Develop and direct objectives, policies, and processes regarding all accounting, finance and purchasing functions. Responsible for maintaining and enhancing internal controls Responsible for all asset management Responsible for all payroll functions Assist in the preparation of sales and use tax returns, personal property tax returns and coordinate with the outside CPA firm to provide information for the preparation of all income tax returns. Responsible for cash management and primary banking relationship. Administer 401k plan including coordinating with plan administrators, new enrollments, plan document amendments, 5500 and all year-end filings, and employee deposit uploads. Identify and manage ongoing departments trainings for all team members. Work closely with the CEO to ensure the ongoing health of the organization. Provide financial reporting functions for four additional ancillary organizations.
