ABOUT VIVIAN TRAN
Hi, I’m Vivian Tran, a student at George Washington University majoring in Public Health with a minor in Chemistry on the pre-med track.Motivated by firsthand experiences with healthcare inequities in Vietnam, I am passionate about advancing healthcare innovation, women’s health research, mental health advocacy, and environmental health. I aspire to bridge gaps in healthcare access and equity through clinical research, public health initiatives, and patient-centered care.Alongside my academics, I co-founded a nonprofit dedicated to expanding educational access for children in low-income countries. I also serve as an advocate for women in sports through the Voice in Sport Foundation, championing gender equity and mental health awareness.Besides that, as a former Division 1 and prep school athlete, I learned to balance rigorous academics, competitive athletics, leadership roles, and volunteer work all while prioritizing mental health and personal growth. These experiences have shaped my resilience, adaptability, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.I am passionate about healthcare innovation, health equity, women\'s health research, and fostering inclusive communities, I am committed to creating meaningful change and making a lasting impact in both local and global communities.
