WORK HISTORY
Program Associate, Food and Markets @World Wildlife Fund
In my role on the Markets Team at WWF, cross-team collaboration is one of the most important skills I use on a daily-basis. Managing communications and outcomes amongst WWF Country offices, Consultants, WWF-US Staff, and Donors is one of my main duties to effectively organize and communicate progress/setbacks in our climate goals. The Conservation and Markets Initiative (CMI) projects I manage, engages private sector companies in establishing commitments towards deforestation and conversion-free food supply chains primarily in South America: beef, soy, and leather. I also support the financing of sustainable seafood fisheries and markets.• Manage the orchestration of 4 high-impact projects under the Conservation and Markets Initiative totaling over $20M+• Lead project reporting by streamlining processes and implementing time management strategies, ensuring 95% on-time delivery of project requirements, and capturing key conservation milestones• Support directors in engaging key stakeholders in the beef, leather, and soy industries, facilitating discussions for commitments to deforestation and conversion-free supply chains in the Amazon Rainforest and Cerrado Savanna in Brazil• Implement data collection systems to optimize project efficiency and measure impact and performance
