ABOUT VIVEK KRISHNA

With over 10 years of experience in life sciences, I have a strong background in molecular biology, translational research, and product development. I hold a Ph.D. in CVD Sciences, a Mitacs Postdoctoral Fellowship, and multiple certifications in R&D. As a seasoned Project Manager specializing in biotechnology research and product development, I excel at planning, organizing, and leading cross-functional projects. I define project scope, goals, and deliverables to align with organizational objectives, create detailed project plans, and coordinate activities to ensure adherence to timelines and milestones. My expertise includes effective resource allocation and management, risk identification and mitigation, and continuous project evaluation and adjustment for successful outcomes. I provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards. Collaborating seamlessly with internal teams, external partners, and vendors, I drive continuous improvement in project management processes and practices, fostering innovation and efficiency. Other duties include developing proof of concepts/prototypes and leading the design and development process. I also collaborate with engineers, chemists, and researchers from diverse backgrounds, and mentor a team of five in various aspects of the laboratory activities. I am proficient in assay development, GMP, ISO13485:2016, CLSI Guidelines, and QC. I have also been involved in FDA-EUA, Health Canada applications, and CSPA accreditation of laboratories.
