About Vivek Merani
Vivek started his career at the Magnon group and is the Managing Director of Magnon eg+. Magnon Group is a part of the Fortune 200 Omnicom network (NYSE: OMC) and is one of the largest marketing, digital, linguistics & advertising groups in India. With ~400 employees and offices across Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore, Magnon works with some of the most respected (Global 25) brands in the world. Vivek was named Managing Director of Magnon eg+ in 2014, at the young age of 33. This made him perhaps the youngest ever MD of a multinational agency in India. He has been profiled as a case study in the bestseller book ‘30 Something CEO’. Magnon eg+ is an award winning digitally-led specialist agency. Major clients include Google, HP Inc, Nestle, P&G, Amazon, Etihad Airlines, Nissan Motors & Tata Communications. Magnon eg+ is also Omnicom’s largest digital & creative production center anywhere in the world. It works as a strategic arm of Omnicom agencies such as TBWA, DDB and BBDO from around the world and has worked on over 100+ global brands. Vivek is also on the advisory board of several exciting start-ups, including talentrack – India’s largest hiring platform for the US$ 25 billion media & entertainment sector. Within 3 years of being set up, talentrack today aggregates over talent and industry recruiters and is truly digitizing and democratizing the industry. The platform processes over a million job & audition applications for talent such as Actors, Models, Singers, Photographers, Anchors, Dancers etc. He is a regular speaker and panelist at various corporate and academic forums and is an MBA from LBSIM, New Delhi. His interests include swimming, cycling, horse riding, tennis and is passionate about travelling the world.
