Hi, there!I\'m a Staff Product Manager at Proofpoint working in the Security Products Group. We protect people and data for organizations worldwide with our cutting-edge security products and solutions spanning the most important threat vectors (email, messaging).My path into Product Management was paved by the Masters\' in Product Management (MS-PM) program from Carnegie Mellon University. This included short stints at Pendo.io and Boeing HorizonX that taught me several nuances of being an effective Product Manager, managing varied customer expectations, working with diverse team,s and assessing the application of new technologies in several industries.In my earlier career, I have been a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in Enterprise Management and Orchestration applications. My industry exposure spans multiple domains - Unified Communications, Data Centers (Servers), and Endpoint Security.My technical work has often involved full-stack software development, requiring knowledge of User Interfaces (as well as UX guidelines), back-end services implemented (mostly) in Java/J2EE, low-level tools/libraries written in Java/C++/Perl/Pytho,n and occasionally some OS internals.I have been fortunate to work in both small & large teams, learning from a diverse set of experienced professionals & young minds. I also enjoyed mentoring fellow team members and established a great rapport with everyone in my professional circle.
