Ever since I was a kid, computer science always fascinated me. I remember the first program I wrote in LOGO to draw beautiful pictures. Then I went through BASIC and printing “hello world” for the first time. It was magical at the time to me.I went on to learn C and C++ in my primary education and I carried on this passion with my graduation where I learned about operating systems, computer networks, databases, data structures and algorithms. There I coordinated to design a web application for college technical festival Techzion.I got an opportunity to work in Informatica where I worked on Master Data Management (MDM). It was here when I realized the power of data and I wanted to learn techniques to harness it.This led me to do Masters from IIT Kanpur. There I was introduced to Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing and the beauty of mathematics behind it all. I finished my thesis in Vision and Language and joined Oracle as MTS.At Oracle, I worked on designing and implementing end to end machine learning platform to detect anomalies in runtime of test suits. So, my passion remains with me in this industry. There is certainly a lot more learn, a lot more problems to solve and a lot more to build.
