ABOUT VIVEK AGRAWAL
I am a cybersecurity expert with 13+ years of experience in the core security segments. I am currently working as Senior Governance Lead (Center of Excellence) at Harman International India Pvt. Ltd.(Bangalore) in the automobile and connected car domain. I am defining and improving (process, policy, work instruction, template) the Cybersecurtiy Management System (CSMS). I am also focuing on adoption of tool for the cybersecurity management across all divisions of Harman. I work closely with Harman University to define the career framework, skill metrics, and courses for the cybersecurity roles. Before joining Harman, I worked as a Post Doc researcher at NTNU, investigating the information security, compliance, and privacy issues in the e-health domain. I worked closely with the hospitals in Norway and other relevant stakeholders. I was actively involved in writing the Norwegian and European funding proposals. During my Ph.D. study at NTNU, I worked on Cryptography, Secure information sharing, and Risk management methods & tools. I published more than 20 research articles (Conference papers, journal papers, and book chapters) in international publication channels. I also presented my research findings through the seminar and workshop to international participants throughout my Ph.D. tenure. I successfully managed (administration and research activities) the UnRizkNow project, funded by the CCIS.I received an M.S. degree in Information and Communication Technology, specializing in information security, from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Sweden, in 2013.
