About Vivek Yadav
I am currently working as a Staff Engineer at Illumina and played a key role in the product development of Miseq i100. The DNA sequencers utilize the power of genomics to impact global healthcare significantly. Prior to that, I did my Ph.D. at the University of Notre Dame. My research interests lie in microfluidics, biosensors, lab-on-a-chip devices, electrokinetics, image processing, theoretical modeling, computational fluid dynamics, finite element simulations, and cell culture.I am an outcomes-oriented inventor and communicator. During graduate school, my broad interest in developing exciting bio-technologies (#5) has resulted in several patents, and publications including 3 featured cover articles in leading peer-reviewed journals. Overall, I have 5+ years of experience in the execution of deadline-based highly innovative, and collaborative multidisciplinary projects with funding from NIH, NSF as well as industrial partners (SRC)
