ABOUT VIVEK SWAMINATHAN

I am Vivek Swainathan. I did my Mechanical Engineering from Sriram Engineering College (2007-11), Chennai, where I was first exposed to the world of Arts through a mime & body theatre group called MacTrics. Two years as a full time theatre artist after completing my engineering, I directed and wrote two major Theatre productions – Vidhuran and Circus which was well received by the audience and critics. I also had the opportunity to direct around 30 corporate mime shows. My foray into movies started when I worked as an Assistant director in a movie titled “Konjam Koffee Konjam Kaadhal” which unfortunately went unreleased. Then, I joined the team of Mr. K.V. Anand sir in 2013, and have assisted him in his movies Anegan (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anegan) as an Assistant director and in Kavan (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kavan_(film)) as his Associate Director. I have also directed few TV Commercials, Documentaries and Corporate Videos for clients like Sankara Nethralaya Eye Hospital, Yatra Agarbathis, Help for Blind Foundation, Vanitha Fireworks Etc.
