In my current role, I lead a team of software developers, support engineers, engineering and support managers, and collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization. I am responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the software systems and applications that power the Amazon Newsstand platform. I also oversee the quality assurance, performance optimization, and security of the software products. Some of the skills that I use and enhance in my role are AWS, Agile, and Scrum.    Managed the end to end technology stack for a $100 million+ business. This included the publisher, purchase, post purchase and reading experience of customers. I was also managing multiple job families at this point like Software Developers, Support Engineers, Engineering and Support Managers This is my 3rd role change in Amazon and like always I moved roles when i felt the learning have slowed down in my previous role. I moved to Amazon Newsstand and started managing a team of 4 software development engineers. This team owned the publisher facing experience for Amazon Newsstand where publishers can define pricing, title metadata, deals etc and manage their title. This team managed the listing lifecycle of a title from setting up the title to publishing the offer. I then went on to my biggest development project till date of having magazine titles available within Kindle Unlimited. This involved working across various technologies like graphQL, Coral Services, Front end technologies etc. Post this project I expanded my scope further to manage print and digital Newsstand subscriptions.
