The role is to support the UK Chief Credit Officer in providing supervision and oversight of all matters relating to credit risk in the UK legal entities, including adherence to regulatory requirements, effective remediation of regulatory actions and alignment with global standards. Key responsibilities include: • Support the UK CCO on management meetings on credit risk related matters and ensure timely delivery and appropriate focus for regulatory deliveries impacting UK legal entities.• As part of the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) function, collaborate with the other functions including the Credit Risk teams, SRM, NFR, etc. on legal entity governance deliverables (e.g. ICAAP), and any initiatives related to the UBS integration including any unwind or de-risking actions.• Support the UK CCO to create high quality artefacts such as communication decks/presentations for senior management and response to regulatory matters/requests coming from the Core College, with specific focus on the PRA. This would involve analysis of data and feedback provided by different stakeholders, and consolidation and presentation of the information in a timely manner.• Contribute to the CRM’s regulatory interactions and risk governance mandates such as regular review of key committee terms of reference and membership, facilitating approvals by senior management and RMC.• Coordinate the risk identification exercise, credit risk stress scenario analysis and reverse stress test from an UK LE perspective and support the validation of credit input into the UK risk inventory, ICAAP and other regulatory submissions.• Support regular and ad hoc assessment and reporting of the credit risk portfolio booked in the UK legal entities for Senior Management, RMC, Board, NCL, or regulators.• Partner with the quantitative team in managing and monitoring of the credit and exposure calculation capital models, including coordinating with other stakeholders including CRM for the model attestations.
