Vivek Pratap Singh is a CPA (USA) and CA (England & India). He is a results-oriented professional with over 12 years of progressive experience in American multinational companies as well as Big 4 firms. Currently, as the Associate Director at PepsiCo, Vivek is leading a team of 7 professionals across various geographies and spearheading US GAAP & Statutory reporting for the AMESA (Africa, Middle East and South Asia) Sector (reporting to PepsiCo NY). He has expertise in Audit, Controls, US GAAP and Statutory reporting including overseeing complex transactions like leases, Taxes, Derivatives, highly inflationary accounting, and a wide range of M&A transactions. He was at the forefront of Reporting transformation in APAC markets (Asia Pacific, China and ANZ) and led the development of a shared service centre (SSC)/ reporting COE for APAC sector in 2022, which consists of an expert and cost-effective team managing US GAAP reporting through highly standardized & automated processes. He played a lead role in the implementation of Indian Accounting Standards (IFRS) in the Snacks & Beverages division, anchored the Statutory and Tax Audits, managed the auditor transition from KPMG to GT and led the technical accounting for IFRS and US GAAP.
