Cost Optimization: Negotiate pricing and contracts with global suppliers to achieve the best value while managing import/export duties, taxes, and material costs. Inventory Management: Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to manage stock levels, reduce lead times, and ensure efficient supply chain operations. Monitoring daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing, and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules. Logistics Coordination: Work closely with freight forwarders/CHA/ Agent, customs brokers, and shipping companies to manage the transportation of goods across borders efficiently. Vendor Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with key suppliers in order to ensure quality of materials/ service provided. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with the production, R&D, quality control, and finance teams to ensure that purchased materials meet the required standards and quantities. Ensure timely supply of goods to meet production schedules, preventing any production delays due to material shortages. Provide input into new product development by sourcing new materials and suppliers for innovative products.
