Operational Supervision: Oversee real-time operations of the 400/220kV GIS substation, ensuring uninterrupted power transmission and distribution.Monitor critical parameters using SCADA systems to maintain grid stability and respond to load variations.Coordinate with regional control centers for load dispatch, switching operations, and grid synchronization.2. Maintenance Management: Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for GIS equipment, including circuit breakers, transformers, isolators, and busbars to ensure optimal performance. Supervise corrective maintenance and troubleshooting of faults in high-voltage systems to minimize downtime. Conduct regular inspections of SF6 gas levels, insulation systems, and other GIS components to prevent failures.3. Team Leadership: Lead a team of technicians and engineers during shifts, assigning tasks and ensuring adherence to operational protocols.4. Safety and Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety standards, including LOTO procedures, PPEusage, and substation-specific safety protocols.5. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to equipment failures, faults, or grid disturbances, implementing contingency plans to restore operations. Coordinate with maintenance crews for rapid fault isolation and repair during outages. Document incidents and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of shift activities, including equipment status, maintenance performed, and operational events.Prepare and submit reports on substation performance, incidents, and maintenance activities to senior management. Update technical records, including equipment maintenance histories and SF6 gas inventory.
