About Viveck Waaghmare

I Mr. Viveck Waaghmare, born and brought up in Mumbai in a small place on the borders of Mumbai called Dahisar. Born in a middle class family of secretariat parents for state govt of Maharashtra. Schooling was completed in Dahisar school called PPHS and graduation from Sydenham college of commerce and Economics. Earlier ambition was to become finance and tax consultant. Completed masters degree in commerce from Mumbai university with finance as specialization. Completed MBA from ICFAI institute with finance as specialization. Initial years from 1992 to 1998 were more exposed to finance and taxation work. Though finance was interest, life had something else in store. From 1998 onwards my career was deviated in to media and film production after I joined Tropicfilm Pvt Ltd a company headed by Dev Benegal. Completed two feature films under this banner English August and Split Wide Open and many short films and documentaries. This stint was ended in 2004 after I Joined Apocalypso Film works a company headed by renowned director Pradeep Sarkar. Completed more than 500 TVCs in this banner and feature films like Parineeta, Eklavya, Laga Chuneri mei daag, Lafengey Parindey, Mardaani etc. Also some short films. Handled many facets of advertising and film production in these span of 15 years like budgeting, finance control, client servicing, Pre-production, production, post production, deliveries under tight deadlines, Film Festival work and coordination and many more. From 2014 onward started my own journey as independent Executive Producer under my own firm High Rrise Films. As a consultant also handled many Ad Films as Producer under banner of Ananta Films. Since then the journey is on as independent EP. As original roots were in finance do handle some clients for taxation and finance consulting on and off. Well still desire to do more and lot in this long journey of media and advertising. Thank you
